Our Origin

The Dudley Story

"He became a neighborhood favorite — earning nicknames like 'Pumpkin' and 'Shaggy'."

udley is a Scottish Highland Bull born on June 1st, 2015 in Milford, NH. He was one of two bulls born that day, but sadly lost his brother to production. Dudley's pasture was located on a beautiful farm where his inviting, gentle, and fun personality quickly became well known to passers-by. He became a neighborhood favorite, earning nicknames such as "Pumpkin" and "Shaggy".

I first met Dudley in the Spring of 2017 during my daily commute. Thanks to a successful Go Fund Me campaign, we raised the funds necessary to purchase him so he was not sent to production like his only brother. After three months of searching for a sanctuary, I found Dudley's forever home at Unity Farm Sanctuary (unityfarmsanctuary.org) in Sherborn, Mass.

Dudley was transported to his new home on June 6th, 2018, where he now lives out his best life with other animal rescues in safety and peace.

Who is Dudley Brewing?

Dudley Brewing is a nano scale craft brewery located in Wilton, NH, renowned for our flagship Scottish Ale (8.1% abv), which is brewed in the spirit of Scotland itself and includes a wee hint of sweet Marker's Mark bourbon for a deliciously warm finish.

Wee Heavy Scottish Ale

8.1% ABV

Our flagship brew — rich, malty, and brewed in the spirit of Scotland itself. In addition to a variety of base malts and three different hops, we soak oak chips in Makers Mark bourbon and allow them to rest in the fermenter for 7 days prior to packaging. Enjoy this sipping brew alongside a fire pit, a grill or watching the game! Sure to warm your soul and, like Dudley, it delivers a kick!

American Pale Ale

6.6% ABV

Brewed in honor of our founding fathers on this 250th anniversary, this crisp, mildly hoppy, and proudly American ale is a refreshing everyday pour. This is our first (and likely only!) offering which does not instill spirits in the finished product. Best enjoyed around a grill, poolside after a day in the yard or a gathering with friends!

Vanilla Pumpkin Pie Ale

7.2% ABV

A seasonal fan favorite that tastes just like dessert in a glass. Brewed with real pumpkin, warm baking spices, a hint of graham cracker and finished with a generous pour of Jim Beam Vanilla Vodka, this ale captures everything you love about pumpkin pie — with a craft beer twist. Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced for cool autumn evenings.
